Gareth has worked in the credit industry for many years, starting with a large debt recovery agency in Leeds whose client base included high street banks and leading lenders.
He has been with Harwood & Co, solicitors for over thirty years and has been the head of the debt recovery department since 1990. He oversees the collection of debts and is part of the litigation team dealing with more complex contested cases.
Gareth is also experienced in most areas of alternative dispute resolution, especially mediation.
For many years he has delivered lectures and presented seminars on behalf of many different companies to a wide audience on legal aspects of credit control, debt recovery, insolvency and litigation. Gareth is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
