Why Harwood & Co? ¶
We operate on a relatively simple premise: people perform at their best when they feel part of a supportive and open culture. That’s why we work hard to create and maintain that feeling here at Harwood & Co (so much so, we have appointed a Culture Manager to ensure we stay true to our word and continue to keep our values front and centre as we grow).
We pride ourselves on our 'open door' way of working. Whilst we love to celebrate our successes together (and do this often), we also collaborate and support one another through the challenges, ensuring we learn from these both individually and as a firm.
Our smaller size and flatter structure offer opportunities that can be hard to come by at larger firms. Despite our niche focus, our clients, sectors and cases are incredibly diverse, allowing team members to build varied experience quickly. Our proven results and expertise have also attracted a high calibre of clients, so joining a smaller firm does not mean working with small clients.
We believe that our model is a unique offering – 'big firm' clients and cases combined with the family feel, supportive culture and flexibility we know our team values.

As a boutique debt and litigation firm, we offer the 'best of both worlds'. In simple terms, this means we offer the warmth, culture and flexibility of a smaller practice, yet the capabilities, calibre of work and opportunities you'd expect from larger firms.
We do things differently here. We don’t operate a hierarchical structure; everyone is approachable, friendly, knowledgeable, and importantly, accessible.
