About ¶

Cyrielle joined Harwood & Co in 2024, the same year she qualified as a Fellow Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx). She brings 10 years’ experience in civil litigation and construction and engineering disputes.

She specialises in litigation and contentious claims, largely related to debt recovery and commercial disputes. Her areas of interest include drafting of legal documentation and advocacy.

Cyrielle has a wide range of interests and hobbies including travel, anime, Thai boxing and DIY. She is also an avid motorcyclist and enjoys attending rallies and conventions on anything from classic cars to Comic Con.

Key Achievements ¶

Acted for a utility company on a multi-track case against a developer who damaged major fibre optic cables on three separate occasion which cut services to police services, NHS hospitals and other major organisations. Conducted the matter from inception to final hearing.
Acted for a utility company defending a claim made by a local authority in relation to alleged defective installation works. The case was particularly interesting in that it involved argument of limitation and contributory negligence as well as mitigation of losses. 
Following street works carried out by sub-contractor, Cyrielle assisted in having the claim struck out and wasted costs awarded in favour of my client.
Acted for a client in respect on infringement rights. Aided in negotiation and settling the case.
