About ¶

After starting her career in the world of banking, Allison joined Harwood & Co in 2005. Now, nearly 20 years into her Harwoods career, Allison works in our finance department.

Day-to-day she looks after the firm’s accounts, daily bank reconciliations, payments, account receipts, VAT returns and client billing. Allison is excellent at building supplier relationships, and has a strong knowledge of solicitor accounting rules.

Outside of work, Allison loves hiking, is a regular Park Run participant, and is partial to a holiday! She also enjoys baking.

Key Achievements ¶

Led the implementation of legal software Proclaim across the firm.
Completed MBL training seminars in 2021 in:
- Solicitors Accounts Rules - Dealing with Residual Balances
- Solicitors Accounts Rules - Client Money & Common Misunderstandings
- An Accountants Guide to the New Solicitors Accounts Rules
