How can Harwood & Co assist my firm? ¶
We can support you with debt recovery and commercial litigation. First we will learn about your business, your goals and the issues you face. We then provide tailored advice to your specific needs.
What fees are involved should we instruct Harwood & Co? ¶
Typically we charged fees for uncontested debt recovery claims, insolvency petitions, and enforcement action. These fees can be found in the pricing section of our website. We charge at hourly rates for all other work, such as contested ligation. We will always provide cost estimates and are happy to agree a bespoke fee structure with you.
How long do I have to pursue a debt before it becomes unenforceable? ¶
In England and Wales, generally, a debt may become "statute-barred" after six years under the Limitation Act 1980. However, the law on the area is complicated and the limitation period could be longer or it could be extended. If you are owed money, and are concerned about limitation, please contact us urgently.
